Who am I? What is this place? Does anybody here know where we're going?
Hello! Thanks so much for stopping by! I’d ask you to make yourself comfortable, but if you’re anything like me, then you’d probably just go home.
You all might know me from my first book, WINTERSET HOLLOW, which became something of a viral success in the literary horror/thriller space a few years back. You also might know me from my presence on the interwebs, where millions of people enjoy (most of) my memes and musings on a daily basis. And if you’re more of a visual learner, they all have my big dumb face on them and look like this…
I know, I know, but branding is branding so give me a break…
But the truth is I’m a writer first and an internet humorist second, and I need a space to connect with my readers away from the noise of my social media, which is sometimes deafening. So, in short, that’s why I’m here…and that’s why I hope you’re here too.
So, what can you expect here? Well, you can expect some funny, shareable things from me on a regular basis, but more importantly, you can expect fiction that I haven’t yet published, and also some sneak peeks at things that will be published in the near future.
Basically, if you enjoy my writing and you’re tired of waiting for my next book (which is called HOLLYWOODLAND and will be out in 2025 AHEM), then this is the only place to scratch that itch, and I am a VERY good itch scratcher!
Here you’ll find chapters from books that I have yet to pull the publishing trigger on, as well as at least one (1) brand new short story each and every month! I’ll also sometimes post some quirky writing things like movie and pilot scripts that I’ve written in the past, and you’ll also get some great behind the scenes insight into my life and process as a writer.
Also, every year (give or take), I’ll bundle the short stories I’ve written into a collection, and before that collection is published, every paid subscriber will receive a limited hardcover edition of that book outfitted with a subscriber only cover! That will be something ONLY you guys will have, so that should be pretty cool!
Also ALSO, I like to do cool bookish giveaways every now and then for my subscribers. Book charms, signed copies, cover posters and things like that, so there will be plenty of that too!
Basically, this is a place for me to share my work with you before the rest of the world gets to see it, and a place for me to share a side of myself with you that the rest of the world never gets to see. So that’s either gonna be awesome of terrifying or both. I guess we’ll find out together. Or not, and you can be on your way. But let’s be real, if you’ve made it this far into this post, then you’re probably gonna hit that button. Go on, do it.
